ENRICHMENT PROGRAMME, CO-CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES AND EXTRA- CURRICULAR ACTIVITIES

The Enrichment Programme is designed to provide our students with an opportunity to have enriching experiences beyond the normal school day. The primary goal of EP is for students to have fun while learning important life skills and developing mastery of certain skills. The Programme is not competitively driven, but instead, is focused on exposing students to new experiences and enriching their lives.

The EP will allow students to try new experiences or participate in areas they are already passionate about. Each EP aims to be student centered and to maximize student participation in the activity.

The Mount Carmel Sera School offers a host of Enrichment Programme to students across classes and across interests. Some of the enrichment programme offered within and beyond school are:

• Football
• Basketball
• Music (Vocals and Instrumentals – Keyboard)
• Elementary and Intermediate Drawing exams
• Drama and Theatre
• Martial Arts

Apart from this the school continues to host multiple intra school events covering skills around Extempore, Creative Writing, Public Speaking and much more.

The Community Outreach Programme is an initiative that strives to create opportunities for Mount Carmel Sera School, haldwani, students to become more actively engaged in service-related initiatives within the school, the greater community and the world. This Programme works towards manifesting the mission and vision of Mount Carmel Sera School as our students are empowered to engage in issues of social importance with a true sense of responsibility and ownership for global concerns and are prepared to become Leaders of Tomorrow. Through grappling with unsolved and often significant global challenges, students find their voice in how to assess and address the real needs of their school and local community. Through taking action, students see how they can truly ‘make a difference’.

The Mount Carmel Sera School has been actively participating in various programs.

1. ”Joy of giving”- It happens every year in the month of December, where all are children learn to share with those ,who are financially weak, through this program imbibe the beautiful value of sharing is caring.
2. ”Save your planet”- Under this programme, each one of our student have adopted one tree, where they promise to take care of it.
3. ”Let’s become chef”- They learn to cook various new creative recipes in cold cooking.
4. ”Save wild life”- Every year our children participate in campaign to aware others about various endangered species and how to protect our biodiversity.
